From Dec. 2015 to Dec. 2016 Wake county added 29,398 jobs to market representing a 5.7% increase, according to WCED. The unemployment rate fell .2 % and stands around 4% currently. With the move of WCED head Adrienne Cole to the Greater Raleigh Chamber we should expect to see a continued emphasis on economic growth for the county. See full February recap here.
