Amber Moshakos, president of LM Restaurants LLC, a hospitality management group based in Raleigh, spoke recently at the 2019 MRA Annual Holiday celebration about their new BBQ restaurant concept being developed on Creekside Drive in Midtown. The site previously housed the triangle's first Carolina Ale House. The Moshakos family has held this property and now feels the time, place and vibe are right in Midtown for bringing the new restaurant to life. The Preserve is a joint venture with longtime BBQ icon Ed Mitchell, most recently of "The Pit" in downtown Raleigh.
